Amy is the Administrative Assistant at Rights Watch (UK). She holds a MA in Human Rights from UCL where she focused on minority rights and the legal challenges of biodiversity conservation while complying to International Human Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
At the time of her traineeship at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, Amy engaged in various pro bono activities such as a project together with the UNHCR on the recognition of gender identity for refugee applicants in Costa Rica. As a consultant for the World Food Programme, she conducted in-depth research on hunger prone communities in the DRC, Nepal and Honduras.
Besides her native languages German and Dutch, Amy is also fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
